ANKARA - License applications filed with the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) on Thursday to establish wind power stations are worth 156 billion YTL and have a cumulative electric value of 78,000 megawatt.
Yusuf Gunay, Chairman of the EPDK, said Friday they had received applications for wind power station more than they expected.
"After receiving applications on Thursday, we went over the files on Thursday evening," told Gunay.
"The companies interested in establishing wind power stations in Turkey submitted security bids worth 780 million YTL," noted Gunay.
"We will complete studying the files submitted to the EPDK and give the necessary responses," underlined Gunay.
