ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank dropped by 166 million U.S. dollars between April 30 and May 7, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 717 million U.S. dollars on April 30 reduced to 33 billion 551 million U.S. dollars on May 7.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations reduced 1 billion 147 million U.S. dollars from 12 billion 764 million U.S. dollars to 11 billion 617 million U.S. dollars between April 16 and 22.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations dropped 333 million U.S. dollars from 47 billion 374 million U.S. dollars to 47 billion 41 million U.S. dollars between April 16 and 22.
