ANKARA - Repo transactions between banks and their customers rose by 740.7 trillion Turkish liras (TL) between April 30 and May 7, 2004.
The Central Bank data show that the repo transactions, which were 3 quadrillion 232.8 trillion TL on April 30, climbed to 3 quadrillion 973.5 trillion TL on May 7.
The reverse repo transactions with customers rose to 56 trillion 822 billion TL in this period.
Repo transactions among the financial organizations rose 1 quadrillion 414 trillion TL to 9 quadrillion 575.5 trillion TL on May 7. The total repo transactions amount was 8 quadrillion 161.5 trillion TL on April 30.
The reverse repo transactions among the financial organizations, which were 8 quadrillion 66.5 trillion TL on April 30, increased 1 quadrillion 359.5 trillion TL to 9 quadrillion 426 trillion TL on May 7.
