ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 2 quadrillion 753 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 68 quadrillion 377.5 trillion TL between April 22 and 30, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 65 quadrillion 624.5 trillion TL on April 22.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 839.9 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 656.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 146.6 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 60 quadrillion 549.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 882.4 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
