Five injured in fight between Turks and Kurds in Vienna

VIENNA - Five people were injured in a fight involving between 20 and 30 people of Turkish and Kurdish origin Sunday evening in a district in the south of Vienna, police said.
Two men suffered serious knife injuries, while three others were lightly wounded.
Police said they were still searching for the unknown suspects.
The incident occurred as tensions mounted between the Turkish army and Kurdish separatists on Turkey`s border with Iraq.
About 1,000 people also demonstrated Sunday afternoon in St. Poelten, west of Vienna, to "show solidarity with Turkey against PKK terror", in reference to the Kurdistan Workers` Party (PKK), but the protest was peaceful, police said.
