U.S. To Watch Turkish Horror Movie "araf" On D.V.D.

ISTANBUL - DVDs of Turkish horror movie "Araf" (The Abortion) by Biray Dalkiran will be sold in the United States.
Dalkiran told the A.A on Thursday that for the first time a Turkish movie would be sold on DVD with a great promotion in the United States. "Araf is the first Turkish movie that was bought by an American company," Dalkiran said.
The movie is about a woman, Eda, who learns she is pregnant following an illicit affair and decides to have an abortion three months into her term. Years later, after marrying the boyfriend she cheated on, the woman suffers haunting visions of her aborted child, and becomes gradually unhinged when everyone around her refuses to believe in the ghost's existence. It stars Akasya Asliturkmen and Murat Yildirim.
