Turkish Police Confiscate 25 Kg Of Heroin In Van

VAN - Turkish police confiscated 24.9 kg of heroin in eastern Van province, sources said on Thursday.
Sources stated that acting on a tip off, police stopped a truck in Gurpinar town of Van and seized 24.9 kg of heroin hidden in secret compartments of truck.
Officials said that heroin had a market value of about 500 billion Turkish liras (TL) and added that investigation was under way.
