ANKARA - Turkey's fundamental economic indicators continued to show a strong improvement, Turkish Justice Minister and government spokesman Cemil Cicek said on Monday.
Following the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Cicek told reporters that the government was determined to reach the year-end primary surplus of 6.5 percent.
Cicek said that Turkey would continue high primary surplus practice which would help continuation of decrease in public debt stock.
Relations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in and after 2005 would continue in an enhanced atmosphere of confidence, Cicek noted.
Cicek added that they could not see any basic risk in the balance of payments.
