ANKARA - Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi met with Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal in Ankara late on Sunday.
Sources said on Monday that Kharrazi's plane stopped by Ankara's Esenboga Airport for refueling while flying to Morocco and Kharrazi held a half-an-hour meeting with Ziyal.
Developments after referendums in Cyprus, isolation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Iraq issue were discussed during the meeting and Ziyal asked for support of Iran for recognition of the TRNC and upgrading the representation of the TRNC in the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) while Kharrazi expressed his concern over latest developments in Iraq, sources said.
