TRABZON - Fire broke out in a gas station near motorway between Besikduzu and Vakfikebir towns of northern province of Trabzon after a jeep of which brakes failed hit its LPG filling depot, sources said on Monday.
Sources said that a jeep hit control clocks of the LPG filling depot in the private gas station ''Gozde Petrol Ofisi'' when its brakes failed and an explosion happened, causing a fire.
In the fire, two gasoline trucks and five motor vehicles along with the jeep in the gas station burned down to ashes and six people were injured seriously.
Those people were rushed to hospital while fire-fighting teams took the fire under control.
Sources said that there was serious damage to the gas station.
