ANKARA - Turkish Environment and Forestry Minister Osman Pepe will go to Finland on Tuesday on an official visit upon invitation of Finnish Agriculture and Forestry Minister Juha Korkeaoja.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Forestry said that Pepe and Korkeaoja would sign ''Memorandum of Understanding between Turkey and Finland'' which would form the basis of continuous and enhancing cooperation in field of forestry.
During his visit to Finland, Osman Pepe would also discuss opportunities of cooperation between Turkey and Finland in management of forestry and natural resources, it said.
Pepe is expected to return to Turkey on May 15.
