EDIRNE - Bulgarian Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha attended a ceremony held at St. Georgi Church in northwestern province of Edirne on Sunday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Saxe-Coburg Gotha said St. Georgi Church, that was inaugurated would be a symbol of rapprochement of the two countries.
Edirne Governor Fahri Yucel, Mayor Hamdi Sedefci, several parliamentarians and high level officials attended the ceremony.
Saxe-Coburg Gotha said, ``restoration of St. Georgi Church has been completed and it has been inaugurated officially,`` stating that the Church would be a symbol of rapprochement of the peoples of the two countries.
Saxe-Coburg Gotha is expected depart from Turkey later today.
