AYVALIK - Turkish security forces have captured 24 illegal immigrants in Ayvalik town of northwestern province of Balikesir, sources said on Saturday.
Sources stated that acting on a tip off, police caught 20 Mauritanians, two Moroccans and two Somalians who attempted to pass to Lesbos island of Greece illegally.
They will be deported following legal proceedings.
