ATHENS - Greek Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis welcomed Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan with an official ceremony in Athens on Friday. Erdogan and Caramanlis held a bilateral meeting after the ceremony. The meetings between delegations will be held after bilateral meeting of Erdogan and Caramanlis and then two Prime Ministers will hold a joint press conference. Erdogan will later be received by Greek President Constandinos Stephanopoulos. Erdogan, who will meet with Greek Parliament Speaker Anna Psaruda-Benaki, will be entertained by the Turkish-Greek Business Council at a luncheon. Prime Minister Erdogan, who will receive leaders of Greek opposition parties, will visit Athens Mayor Dora Bakoyiannis. Erdogan will later attend a dinner that Caramanlis will host in honor of him.
