DUBLIN - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul has called on international community to lift international isolation against Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Speaking at the Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of Euro-Mediterranean Foreign Ministers in Irish capital Dublin, Gul said on Thursday, ''as you know, twin referendums were held in Cyprus for the first time after a long-standing negotiation process. Although the referendum was a unique opportunity, it was missed unfortunately. A new era has begun in the island now. In this era, it will not be fair to isolate Turkish Cypriots.''
