ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 244.5 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 65 quadrillion 624.5 trillion TL between April 16 and 22, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 63 quadrillion 380 trillion TL on April 16.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 867.5 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 639.2 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 140.7 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 57 quadrillion 902.8 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 772 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
