Prime Ministry Denies News Claiming U.S. President Bush Demands Turkish Soldiers For Afghanistan

ANKARA - The news claiming that the U.S. President George W. Bush demanded soldiers from Turkey to send Afghanistan were unfounded, Prime Ministry Press Center stated on Thursday.
Prime Ministry Press Center said in a statement that some press organs claimed today that Bush phoned Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and demanded Turkey to send soldiers and helicopters to Afghanistan, adding that those news were unfounded.
