Ercan Airport In Turkish Republic Of Northern Cyprus To Start To Serve Again On May 10

LEFKOSA - Ercan Airport in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) which has been modernized will be re-opened to service on May 10, TRNC Public Works and Transportation Ministry said on Thursday.
The ministry said that the opening ceremony of the airport which was earlier scheduled to be held on May 11 would be held on May 10.
It is expected that Turkish high-level officials would also attend the opening ceremony.
Ercan Airport was closed on September 10, 2002. Modernization of the airport cost 18 trillion Turkish Liras (TL).
