WASHINGTON D.C. - Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) proceeded to Washington D.C. on Wednesday after meeting with United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell in New York.
Talat is scheduled to meet with U.S. House of Representatives Committee on International Relations Chairman Henry Hyde.
Talat will attend two separate meetings to be held by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Heritage Foundation on Wednesday.
He is expected to depart from Washington D.C. on Friday.
