ANKARA - Turkish Treasury Undersecretariat held two auctions on Tuesday to sell bonds and state notes.
Treasury sold 203-day bonds and state notes denominated in Turkish lira (TL) with a coupon interest payment once in three months on Tuesday.
In the first auction, the net sale became 674.6 trillion TL while the total bid became 935.2 trillion TL.
The composite interest rate became 26.45 and the simple interest rate became 25.08 percent in 203-day bond auction.
In auction of state notes denominated in TL with a coupon interest payment once in three months, the net sale became 509.3 trillion TL while the nominal bid became 838.8 trillion TL.
Both the bonds and the state notes will be issued on May 5, 2003. The bonds will be repaid on November 24, 2004. First coupon payment of state notes will be made on June 16, 2004.
