ANKARA - Turkish Treasury Undersecretariat will hold two auctions on Tuesday to sell bonds and state notes.
Treasury will sell 203-day bonds and state notes denominated in Turkish lira (TL) with a coupon interest payment once in three months on Tuesday.
Both the bonds and the state notes will be issued on May 5, 2003. The bonds will be repaid on November 24, 2004.
The first coupon repayment of the state notes will be made on June 16, 2004.
In its last auction held on April 27, the Treasury sold 525-day discounted state notes denominated in TL and 210-day bonds.
In the state note auction, the composite interest rate became 23.72 percent. The composite interest rate in the bond auction was 24.19 percent.
The total bid had been 3 quadrillion 415.7 trillion TL in the discounted state note auction while it was 1 quadrillion 117 trillion TL in the 210-day bond auction.
The Treasury sold net 2 quadrillion 33.3 trillion TL of state notes and 831.1 trillion TL of bonds in these two auctions.
The simple interest rate became 23.08 in the 210-day bond auction and 24.91 percent in the 525-day discounted state note auction.
