Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan Attends E.U. Enlargement Ceremony

DUBLIN - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended on Saturday the European Union (EU) enlargement ceremony which was held in Dublin, Ireland.
The number of EU member countries increased from 15 to 25 with the ceremony held in Dublin on Saturday.
The ceremony was held at Phoenix Park in which Erdogan, Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin and Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan attended.
The ceremony started with the speeches of Irish President Mary McAleese and Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern.
Irish President McAleese hosted a reception and then a meal in honor of heads of states and governments.
Ten new members of the EU include Estonia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Greek Cypriot side.
