BILECIK - Turkey's exports rose by 42.8 percent to five billion 315 million U.S. dollars in April, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) stated on Saturday.
According to figures of TIM, the exports rose by 36.95 percent and reached 19 billion 88.9 million U.S. dollars in the first four months of 2004.
Turkey exported 4 billion 670 million 627 thousand U.S. dollars of industrial products in the mentioned period. Exports of industrial products increased by 45.2 percent in April when compared with the same period of last year.
Ready-made clothing exports increased by 18.3 percent to one billion 44 million 59 thousand U.S. dollars in April.
Exports increased by 36.9 percent and reached from 13 billion 940 million 287 thousand U.S. dollars to 19 billion 88 million 892 thousand U.S. dollars in the first four months of 2004.
