Erdogan To Visit Greece Between May 6 And 8

ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Greece between May 6 and 8, Turkish Prime Ministry said on Friday.
Turkish Prime Ministry Press Center stated that Erdogan, who would leave for Athens on May 6, would meet with Greek Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis at dinner the same day.
Erdogan will be welcomed officially on May 7 at the Greek Prime Ministry and then he will have a bilateral meeting with Caramanlis. Following the meetings between delegations, Erdogan and Caramanlis will hold a joint press conference.
Erdogan will be received by Greek President Constandinos Stephanopoulos the same day. Erdogan will visit Greek Parliament Speaker Anna Psarouda-Benaki after he lays a wreath to Monument of the Unknown Soldier.
Erdogan, who will attend Turkish-Greek Business Council meeting, will meet with Athens Mayor Dora Bakoyianni and he will be decorated with golden medal of merit. Erdogan will participate in an official dinner the same night.
Erdogan, who will proceed to Alexandroupolis on May 8, will be welcomed by Macedonia and Thrace Minister Nikos Tsiartsionis and Deputy Foreign Ministers of Greece.
Erdogan will be briefed in Turkish Consulate General in Komotini. He will then attend the luncheon which will be hosted by Tsiartsionis in his honor.
Erdogan will return to Turkey in the evening of May 8.
