ANKARA - Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler has said that the method of releasing imports of natural gas in transition to free market would be more beneficial and they had presented a bill to the Prime Ministry to this end.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Guler said that release of imports would be more beneficial to the country and interests of consumers.
''We actually expect more competitors. We wish also other countries to get involved in addition to Russia and Iran. These countries can be Iraq, Egypt and Turkmenistan. Our target is to settle a more powerful competitive environment. With this objective, we have presented a bill to the Prime Ministry.''
