LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas said on Friday that an enterprising foreign policy would be covered soon after a fine tuning.
TRNC Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat and Foreign Minister Denktas held a news conference and assessed their meetings in Ankara.
Denktas said, ''what is expected from us at the time being is to use the momentum gained in favor of us in unity with Turkey to overcome our difference of opinions.''
Stating that it would not be possible to possess everything, Denktas said, ''we should not lose the acquisitions outside by quarreling with each other.''
Denktas said that the Turkish government displayed the same understanding, emphasizing that the Turkish government had been trying to do its best.
Denktas said the decisions made by the United Nations (U.N.) and the European Union (EU) so far were not satisfactory, and noted, ''this should not demoralize people. Every kind of initiative will be launched to get the better.''
