Gul Meets With Talat And Denktas

ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul has met with Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat and Foreign Minister Serdar of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Gul hosted a luncheon in honor of Talat and Denktas on Thursday.
Earlier, Prime Minister Talat told reporters in Istanbul, ''Gul and I will carry out political adjustment works. We will evaluate the situation from now on. We will try to determine what kind of an attitude Turkish side will assume following the latest developments. We will determine steps to be taken to rescue Turkish Cypriots from isolation and overcome possible obstacles in front of Turkey's European Union (EU) process.''
Talat and Denktas are expected to leave Ankara for TRNC later in the day.
