ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 1 quadrillion 491.8 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 65 quadrillion 280 trillion TL between April 9 and 16, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 63 quadrillion 788.1 trillion TL on April 9.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 827.2 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 616.6 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 138.7 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 57 quadrillion 671.4 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 723.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
