ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank rose by 816 million U.S. dollars between April 16 and 22, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 29 million U.S. dollars on April 16 rose to 33 billion 845 million U.S. dollars on April 22.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations fell 660 million U.S. dollars from 13 billion 239 million U.S. dollars to 12 billion 579 million U.S. dollars between April 2 and 9.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations dropped 338 million U.S. dollars from 47 billion 965 million U.S. dollars to 47 billion 627 million U.S. dollars between April 2 and 9.
