Gul: Political Embargoes On Turkish Republic Of Northern Cyprus Will Also Be Lifted

ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Thursday that political embargoes on Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) would also be lifted following the economic embargoes.
Speaking to private NTV channel, Gul said that TRNC deputies would attend sessions in Council of Europe within the scope of new situation and political embargo would also be lifted.
When asked whether withdrawal of Turkish soldiers from Cyprus was in question upon the demand of the European Union (EU), Gul said, ''such a thing is out of question. This would happen, if the plan was accepted, but Greek Cypriots rejected this.''
