LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Serdar Denktas said on Wednesday that the side which would be punished would not be Turkish Cypriot side and added that they were receiving signals of it.
TRNC Council of Ministers convened under the chairmanship of Serdar Denktas.
Prior to the cabinet meeting, Denktas told reporters that Turkish Cypriots put their will and demands clearly in referendum and stated that he thought that the side which would be punished would not be Turkish Cypriot side. Denktas said that they were receiving signals of it and added that talks were continuing.
Denktas noted that despite everything, continuation of embargoes and isolation would be a big injustice for Turkish Cypriots.
Replying to a question, Denktas said that TRNC President Rauf Denktas would not be out of the process in new period and stated that they would share everything with him.
