ISTANBUL - Exports of iron-steel from Turkey to the People's Republic of China increased to 232 million U.S. dollars in 2003.
In 2002, Turkey exported iron-steel of 90 million U.S. dollars to the People's Republic of China.
The Central Anatolian Exporters' Association told the A.A correspondent on Saturday that Turkey's total exports to the People's Republic of China rose 412 percent to 492 million U.S. dollars in 2003 over to the previous year.
Meanwhile, Turkey's imports from the People's Republic of China increased 93 percent from 1 billion 344 million U.S. dollars in 2000 to 2 billion 596 million U.S. dollars in 2003.
