NEW YORK - Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan, who is currently in the United States to attend the spring term meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the meetings of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, met on Friday with representatives of financial organizations in New York.
Prior to his visit to Washington D.C., Babacan replied to questions of foreign investors in a meeting held by Eurasia Group with the support of Morgan Stanley which is an investment consultation organization.
Replying to questions on ''IMF program'', Babacan said that IMF program would end in February 2005, and it would be the first IMF program to be completed in Turkey.
Later, Babacan proceeded from New York to Washington D.C.
