SALONICA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen has met with Macedonia and Thrace Minister Nikos Tsiartsionis of Greece.
Replying to questions of journalists following the meeting, Tuzmen, who is currently paying an official visit to Greece, said on Friday, ''problems of Turkish businessmen acting in Greece were discussed at the meeting in detail.''
''We observed that there is a very positive and constructive approach in Greece about economic and commercial relations between Turkey and Greece. At the meeting, Tsiartsionis reiterated that Greece would support Turkey in its European Union (EU) membership process,'' he added.
STATE MINISTER TUZMEN RETURNS TO TURKEY
Tuzmen returned to Turkey on Saturday after completing his visits to Britain and Greece.
Tuzmen attended the annual ball of the Turkish-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce in London.
Later, Tuzmen proceeded to Greece to hold a series of meetings in Athens and Salonica.
