Security Forces Impound 369 Kg Of Heroin In Edirne

EDIRNE - Security forces have impounded a total of 369 kg of heroin in two vehicles at Ipsala Border Gate in northwestern province of Edirne.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Saturday that security forces confiscated 329 kg of heroin in a lorry which was on its way from Turkey to European countries.
In a separate operation, they seized 40 kg of heroin in another vehicle.
A total of 12 people were detained in the operations.
Full investigations into illicit drug trafficking are under way.
