ISTANBUL - A bomb placed under a bridge in Bahcelievler district of Istanbul, went off on Thursday morning as a bus carrying military personnel was passing under the bridge.
Sources told A.A correspondent that there were not any immediate reports of casualties in the blast.
Besides the bus, two more vehicles were damaged.
The bus was carrying 45 officers from their military lodgings to a military unit.
Sources said that a remote-controlled bomb might have been used in the attack.
Police cordoned off the scene of the explosion to gather all pieces of evidence.

Officials of Chief Prosecutor's Office said an investigation has been launched into the explosion which was considered a terrorist action.
