Erdogan: We Will Always Preserve Our Good Will Mutually On Cyprus

SARAJEVO - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday, ''we will always preserve our good will mutually on Cyprus.''
Speaking to reporters after his meeting with Greek Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis, Erdogan said he evaluated Cyprus process with Caramanlis, and noted that they also discussed improvement of relations between Turkey and Greece.
Erdogan said, ''we also discussed my scheduled visit to Greece which I will pay soon.''
Asked if he would visit Greece whatever the result of the referendum would be, Erdogan said, ''of couse. This is something which we discussed before. We discussed it again.''

TURKISH-GREEK QUARTET MEETING HELD
Turkish and Greek quartet meeting was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, on Wednesday prior to the referendums to be held in Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot sides in Cyprus on April 24, 2004.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Greek Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis, Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and Greek Foreign Minister Petros Moliviatis attended the meeting held after the morning session of the Seventh Summit of Heads of State and Government of Southeast European Countries Co-operation Process
During the meeting, Turkish and Greek sides discussed the Cyprus issue and the bilateral relations.
Previously, Greek Prime Minister Caramanlis conveyed the messages through Turkish Ambassador to Greece Yigit Alpogan that the bilateral relations should be preserved within the current good atmosphere, a go-it alone policy should be adopted for Cyprus process, economic relations should be further strengthened and Greece supported Turkey's European Union (EU) membership process.
