GAZIANTEP - Exports from the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region to the free zones in Turkey increased 34.42 percent to 6 million 404 thousand U.S. dollars in the first three months of 2004.
Southeast Anatolian Exporters' Association told the A.A correspondent on Tuesday that the region exported goods to free zones of Antalya, Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, Istanbul Leather, Aegean, Mersin, Europe and Gaziantep.
The region exported goods of 8 million 51 thousand U.S. dollars to the Istanbul Leather Free Zone and the Gaziantep Free Zone.
