ANKARA - Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul deputy Yasar Nuri Ozturk resigned from his party on Tuesday.
Ozturk who held a press conference at the parliament said that he resigned from CHP as he did not agree with CHP leader Deniz Baykal and party administration.
Stating that he did not agree with the party's view on secularism, religion and integration with people, Ozturk said that it was impossible for him to serve the country with CHP.
