Turkish Prime Minister Says They Have Full Consensus On Cyprus Issue With General Staff And President

ANTALYA/AKSU - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that they had full consensus on Cyprus issue with General Staff and President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
Sources said on Sunday that Erdogan and Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul made some assessments on Cyprus issue in the meeting of Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in southern province of Antalya.
Erdogan said that they felt at ease on Cyprus issue and people should be at ease on the issue and noted that they had full consensus both with General Staff and President Sezer.
Meanwhile Foreign Minister Gul said that Turkish side had been in favor of the solution and extended efforts for it from the very beginning and noted that Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) gained important achievements.
Gul said that Greek Cypriot side's AKEL party's attitude would affect the result of the referendum.
Criticizing TRNC President Rauf Denktas due to his statements on ''sovereignty'', Gul said that TRNC could not export its goods even orange because of the embargoes.
