ISTANBUL - The 11th meeting of the Turkish-Korean Business Council will take place in Istanbul on September 5th.
The Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) said in a statement on Tuesday that Ali Kibar, chairman of the Turkish-South Korean Business Council, will head the Turkish delegation while Korean businessmen will be headed by Kim Sang Yeol, chairman of the South Korean Chamber of Industry & Commerce.
Meanwhile, Eun-Woo Park, director-general of the South Korean Commerce & Investment Support Agency, said that they want to sign a free trade agreement with Turkey.
South Korean firms' total investments in Turkey is expected to exceed 200 million USD by the end of 2007.
