ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Monday that he announces supporters of separatist terrorism in Turkey as terrorist organizations.
"I would like to underline this: I am now announcing that those who support separatist terrorism in this country are terrorist organizations," Erdogan said in the parliament while answering criticisms on program of his new government.
Erdogan reminded that EU countries, the United States and several other countries announced PKK as a terrorist organization.
"Why does not some of those under this blessed roof do it? They should do it too," Erdogan said. "We will fight for common values under this roof. Our justness will be our prosperity. We can not ignore that," he continued.
Erdogan said his Justice & Development (AK) Party earlier stated its three red lines, "we are against ethnical, regional and religious nationalism. We are all subjected to same treatment," he added.
Erdogan said the state invested 5.5 billion YTL (one dollar equals 1.3 YTL) in Eastern and Southeastern regions, noting that the steps in question were made in education, health, transportation, and energy projects.
Turkish Premier said spokesman of the main opposition party talked about the incentive law implemented in southeastern city of Bitlis, "there are investments in Bitlis. However, not the state but the private sector makes the investments. The government implements regional incentive law. We will take another step and start to assess sectoral incentive law," he remarked.
