Parliament Speaker Toptan Receives Turkish Cypriot, Syrian, Pakistani And British Ambassadors

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan received Turkish Cypriot, Syrian, Pakistani and British ambassadors on Monday.
Syrian Ambassador Halid Raad, Pakistani Ambassador Seyit Iftihar Huseyin Shah and British Ambassador Nick Baird congratulated Toptan after being elected new speaker of the Turkish parliament.
Meanwhile, Toptan said at his meeting with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ambassador Tamer Gazioglu, "recent economic and cultural achievements of the Turkish Cypriots are the results of perseverance, endeavor and self-confidence. Like former speakers of our parliament, I paid my first first visit abroad to the TRNC. Turkey has always contributed to well-being of the Turkish Cypriots and will continue to do so."
