IZMIR - A Bosnian delegation headed by Economy Minister Abid Saric paid a visit of courtesy to the Aegean Chamber of Industry (EBSO) on Monday.
During the meeting, Economy Chamber Chairman of the Sarajevo Canton Kemal Grabo informed Izmir businessmen about investment opportunities in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"There is a free trade agreement between Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina. However, due to legal arrangements, Bosnian businessmen can not utilize business opportunities in Turkey," said Grabo.
"Bosnia-Herzegovina has strong relations with Turkey. However, Turkish investments in our country are not much. Turkey is ranked the 10th among the countries with most investments in Bosnia-Herzegovina," noted Grabo.
Meanwhile, EBSO Chairman Tamer Taskin indicated that land transportation, encouragement of mutual investments, prevention of double taxation, meetings of joint economic committees are all factors that would contribute to better economic relations between Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
