MARMARA ISLAND - Turkey`s exports in August 2007, rose by 23.43 percent -- when compared to the same month of 2006 -- and reached 8.6 billion USD.
Turkish Exporters` Assembly (TIM) announced export figures for August 2007 at a press conference held in Marmara Island on Monday.
Accordingly, in the first 8 months of 2007, exports climbed by 24.44 percent compared to the same period of 2006 and reached 66,832 million USD.
As of August 2007, the exports in the last 12-month period rose by 22.66 and reached 98.9 billion USD.
