Exports From Southeastern Turkey Up

GAZIANTEP - Exports from Southeastern Turkey climbed 18.8 percent in the first eight months of 2007, stated Southeast Anatolia Exporters Associations (GAIB) on Monday.
The region`s export is 1.7 billion USD between January-August, 2007. The figure was 1.4 billion USD at the same period in 2006 .
Textile and raw materials top the exported goods list with 1.1 billion USD, while grain & pulse exports amounted 288 million USD in the first eight months of the year.
