Erdogan And Gul To Attend Balkan Summit In Sarajevo

ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will attend the Seventh Summit Meeting of Heads of State and Government of the Southeast European Countries Cooperation Process which was also called as ''Balkan Summit'' in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 21.
Prime Ministry Press Center said on Friday that foreign ministers of countries which participated in the summit would hold a meeting on April 20.
Prime Minister Erdogan and Foreign Minister Gul will represent Turkey in the summit.
Seven countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, and Romania) and Croatia as observer country and Moldova as special guest will participate in the summit.
Romania will take over process term presidency from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the summit.
The statement of Prime Ministry added that Southeast European Countries Cooperation Process was the unique Balkan cooperation forum reflecting joint will and voice of the region.
