Gul Takes Over Presidential Office From Sezer

ANKARA - Abdullah Gul, who was elected as the 11th President of Turkey, has taken over the office from 10th President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
After taking over the post, President Gul began receiving guests who came to the Cankaya Presidential Palace to congratulate him.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also came to the Cankaya Presidential Office to congratulate President Gul.
Meanwhile, Sezer and his wife Semra Sezer departed from the Cankaya Presidential Palace. 10th President Sezer has remained in office for seven years, three months and twelve days.
