German President Koehler Congratulates Gul

ANKARA - President Horst Koehler of Germany congratulated Abdullah Gul on his election as the 11th President of Turkey.
Sending a message to President Gul, President Koehler said that there have been friendly and multilateral relations between Turkey and Germany for long years which further enriched with humanitarian ties.
President Koehler expressed his belief that Turkey and Germany will maintain their cooperation, and wished Gul success in his new tenure.
