Poland's Wroclaw To Support Izmir, Candidate City To Organize Expo 2015

IZMIR - Poland's Wroclaw Municipality, a candidate to organize EXPO 2012, announced that it is ready to support western Turkish city of Izmir, a candidate to host EXPO 2015, during voting of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) in 2008.
Wroclaw Deputy Mayor Jaroslaw Obremski paid a visit to Izmir Mayor Aziz Kocaoglu on Tuesday.
Obremski said that candidacy to host EXPO plays important role in promotion of cities and countries, stating that they expected Izmir to assist Wroclaw during voting of cities to organize EXPO 2012.
Noting that nearly 250,000 Polish tourists visit Turkey every year, Obremski indicated that they are eager to host Turkish tourists in Poland.
